Monthly Report (NOV 2023)

Developers’ sales rallied in November, with 784 units (ex. EC) sold in in the month – up by 286% from October, and sales were up by 202% year-on-year from 260 units transacted in November 2022. New home sales in November were led by the Outside Central Region (OCR) where 539 new units were sold, representing nearly 69% of developers’ sales in the month.

MONTHLY REPORT (OCT 2023)

Private new home sales remained subdued in October, extending the slow sales in recent months. Developers sold 203 new homes (ex. EC) in October, marking a 6.5% decline from the 217 units shifted in the previous month, and sales were down by 35.4% year-on-year from 314 units sold in October 2022. The tepid sales came amid a dearth of new projects being launched during the month.

MONTHLY REPORT (SEPT 2023)

Developers’ sales (ex. ECs) fell further in September owing to the hungry ghost month, dearth of new launches during the month as well as buyer fatigue setting in amongst buyers. New private home sales (excl. ECs) came in at 217 units in September, representing a 45% fall from August’s sales of 394 units, and a 78% decrease year-on-year from the 987 units sold in September 2022. MONTHLY REPORT (AUG 2023)

In August, developer sales plummeted by 72% from the prior month, following a near 2-year high in July, totaling 394 units (excluding Executive Condos). Sales also decreased by 10% compared to August 2022. August 2023 witnessed the Outside of Central Region (OCR) leading sales, with 192 units sold, representing nearly half of the month’s total developer sales.

MONTHLY REPORT (JULY 2023)

New private home sales surged five-fold from June to July, driven by four new launches. Developers’ sales rocketed to a near two-year high, with a five-fold increase from the previous month to 1,412 units (excluding Executive Condos). This marked a substantial 69% year-on-year rise from July 2022. In July 2023, the Rest of Central Region (RCR) led sales with 836 units, accounting for nearly 80% of total developer sales for the month.

Monthly Report (JUNE 2023)

New private home sales hit a six-month low due to a lack of new launches and June holidays. Developers’ sales slumped to a six-month low, dropping by 73.2% compared to the previous month to 278 units (excluding Executive Condos). This also marked a 43% year-on-year decline from June 2022. In June 2023, the Rest of Central Region (RCR) led sales with 147 units, accounting for almost 53% of total developer’s sales for the month.

MONTHLY REPORT (MAY 2023)

New private home sales hit a one-year high, driven by strong demand for city fringe launches. In May, developer’s sales rose by 17%, totaling 1,038 units (excluding Executive Condos). However, there was a 23.4% year-on-year decline from May 2022. Notably, the Rest of Central Region (RCR) led May 2023 sales with 847 units, accounting for 82% of total developer sales.

MONTHLY REPORT (APR 2023)

In April, new private home sales surged to a 7-month high due to robust demand for new launches. Developers’ sales jumped in April, rising by 80% compared to the previous month to reach 887 units (excluding Executive Condos). This marked a significant 34% year-on-year increase from April 2022. The Rest of Central Region (RCR) led April 2023 sales, with 628 units sold, accounting for almost 71% of the total developer’s sales for the month.

Monthly Report (MAR 2023)

In March, new private home sales increased by 13.6%, driven by The Botany at Dairy Farm. Developer’s sales grew in March, rising by 13.6% from the previous month to 492 units (excluding Executive Condos). However, this marked a nearly 25% year-on-year decline compared to March 2022 when 654 units were sold. The Outside Central Region (OCR) led March 2023 sales with 230 units, accounting for half of total developer sales.

MONTHLY REPORT (FEB 2023)

In February, new private home sales climbed due to Terra Hill launch and city home sales pick-up. Developers’ sales grew in February, with a nearly 10% increase from the previous month, totaling 432 units (excluding Executive Condos). However, this marked a 20.3% year-on-year decline from February 2022. The Core Central Region (CCR) led February 2023 sales with 222 units, accounting for over half of total developer sales for the month.

In January, new private home sales doubled due to new project launches. Developer’s sales surged by 130% in January, reaching 391 units (excluding Executive Condos). However, this marked a 43% year-on-year decline from January 2022 when 684 units were sold.
